New Arrivals

With about 6000 volumes of books in possession, the Ma Tat Ng Library has the biggest collection of the Qur'an in the territory. Various translations and commentaries are also available. Apart from the most popular ones such as Yusuf Ali's, Pickhall's, Maududi's, there are the latest English translation by Prof. M.A.S. Abdel Haleem and theˇ§A Thematic Commentary on the Quranˇ¨by al-Ghazali's, which is being translated into Chinese on the website islam.org.hk.

There is also an excellent collection of Hadiths including Al-Bukhari, Muslim, Riyadh and Nawawi's 40 hadiths.

You will also find books on culture, history and societies related to Islam. For example, there are books on architecture and calligraphy, two of the most prominent achievements of the Islamic world, and books listed as reference books of Oxford University's Faculty of Oriental Studies.

AV materials are also available. There are Qur'anic recitations by Qari Abdul Basit Abdul Samad, songs by Yusuf Islam, lectures by Ahmed Deedat, Zakir Naik and Aa Gym, and films and documentaries with Islamic themes.
